Girls on the Run combines physical activity with lessons in confidence, friendship, healthy decision-making, and goal-setting. Students participate in running and movement activities while building social-emotional skills, learning to support one another, and celebrating what their bodies and minds can do.

The season concludes with a celebratory 5K experience that gives participants a chance to show their growth, persistence, and teamwork.

Academy 4 provides participating fourth-grade students with a consistent adult mentor. Volunteers meet with students once a month, building leadership skills, encouragement, and a dependable relationship with a caring adult.
