ClassDojo is our primary tool for communication between teachers and families. Parents should check ClassDojo daily for classroom announcements, reminders, photos, and messages.

Community Compass

Other Ways We Communicate
Some messages are shared through additional tools depending on the type of information.

Automated calls, texts, and emails are used for important announcements, attendance information, weather updates, and emergency communication.
Thursday Folders
Thursday Folders provide one consistent day each week for printed flyers, forms, student work, and other important information to go home.
Parent Conferences
Parent conferences are held twice a year, in the fall and spring. Families may also request meetings with teachers throughout the year.

How will I receive emergency information?
Emergency, weather, and critical campus updates are shared through SchoolMessenger calls, texts, and emails.
When are paper forms and flyers sent home?
Printed information is sent home through Thursday Folders each Thursday.
Can I meet with the principal?
Yes. Families are invited to Coffee with Carter from 8:30–9:30 AM in the cafeteria on the dates listed above.
Can I request a meeting outside of parent conferences?
Yes. Families are encouraged to contact teachers throughout the year and do not need to wait for formal conference dates.
