SBDM
site-based decision making committee
The Site-Based Decision Making Committee (SBDM) is a collaborative group of school staff, parents, community members, and business representatives who work together to support the success of William Lipscomb Elementary. This committee plays a vital role in shaping the direction of our school by providing input on policies, programs, and strategies that impact student achievement, campus improvement, and overall school operations.
Responsibilities of the SBDM include:
- Reviewing and contributing to the Campus Improvement Plan (CIP).
- Analyzing student performance data to guide decision-making.
- Making recommendations on curriculum, budgeting, and staffing.
- Fostering communication and collaboration between the school and the community.
The SBDM ensures that decisions made at Lipscomb Elementary are aligned with the needs of our students and the goals of our school community. Meetings are open to the public, and all are welcome to join in supporting the mission of our school.
For more information about the SBDM or to find out how to get involved, please contact the school office or SBDM Chair Michael Karnowski.
